It’s time for a fresh slice of Brownbread Mixtape, so please join us in our usual spot upstairs the Stag’s Head [Dame Court, Dublin] TONIGHT at 8.30pm (Doors 8pm) for an eclectic spoken word, music and comedy show.
Our theme of the night is “Rebels” and joining us will be the superb, soulful singer Galia Arad (above), the poetic, witty wordsmith [and Broadsheet poetry editor] John Moynes and the anarchic Kiwi comedian Danny Dowling. Closing out the bill will be the marvellous old-timey, folksy, bluegrassy stylings of The Blood Red Mountain Band. As always, the night will be interspersed with razor sharp radio-style sketches from The Brownbread Players, audience stories and, of course, our legendary raffle! We love a good raffle, so we do.
