    A Kodiak? No expense spared there, then. I presumed you would be on some appalling old crate when I saw the photo.

      Our other option for hitching a ride out is an old Russian Mi-17 with a dodgy transmission, if that helps.

        The houses mainly feature enclosed courtyards for security and privacy reasons. They are not roofless as you can see the roofed portions around one or two sides of each compound.

    They build like the Romans, each house a hollow square around a safe and pleasant garden. Lovely!
