It’s time to take on the world! Or more precisely 2000 quizzers around the world taking part in the World Quizzing Championships – all competing for the title of ‘best quizzer in the world‘.
There will also be a fun team quiz afterwards to wind down, with teams made up on the day and seeded based on the WQC scores.
To give all Irish quizzers a fair chance to attend, the venue is right in the centre of the country, just off the M6 Galway-Dublin road (junction 5). It’s 1 hour from the M50, 1.5 hours from Galway & Limerick, and 2 hours from Cork…[continues for ten minutes]
Cost is €10 per person (no teams required) for the full day’s quizzing. Thank you

My outstanding knowledge of the human anatomy meant my table quiz team, ‘Nobody puts table in the corner’ came from 10 points down at the half way mark to win by a solitary point last week. It was absolutely epi..glottis.
