Some of the worst football I have ever seen at the Aviva Lansdowne Road Nua but the best atmosphere. I think Scotland have the best fans in the world. There I’ve said it…

FIGHT!

lots of folk falling around the place getting sick everywhere on Saturday…. yeah they all deserve medals for being such model citizens.

Just as well they know how to enjoy themselves! The association football match was brutal!

FIFA should compensate both sets of fans for enduring that 90 minutes!

Fantastic buzz in town on Sat.
The Scots fans were fantastic. Of course plenty of drink was had, but I saw no trouble and if anything it was such a friendly vibe.

Best bit – whenever the Garda van drove past a large group in Temple Bar outside the pub, they all went quiet and went ‘ssssshhhhhhhhhhh’…. :D

Atmosphere was infinitely better at the game than the previous week versus England. Scotland fans in fine voice throughout and ireland fans amazing at certain points!

Didn’t think the match was awful myself. A different class from what happened last week against England.

Saw a few of them boxing the heads off each other in the away end on Saturday.
Looked like the other Scots policed the situation themselves.
Other than that, they were great.
    Good craic on Friday night.

Intrigued to know how many of the fans were Glasgow Rangers supporters, considering the anti-Irish sentiment amongst Rangers supporters back in Scotland. Hope they had a good time if they made the journey.

I think, as with England fans, the Tartan Army is mostly made up of fans from smaller clubs that would never play European football.
