That’s a very good idea.
My dream job…. oh to go back in time… fupp NUIG… head to Letterfrack instead….. :(
Nice videos, can’t really see this replace more complicated furniture though. Only so much you can do with a a wooden dowel.
Still… simple wood, beautifully done is always lovely….
*sigh*
I’ll make do with the joy of upcycling furniture… having done two wardrobes, a chest of drawers, a big 70s tv-cabinet, a breakfast table to a small hall table, a sofa to an armchair, a futon to a bench box, 2 stools became three, another tv-unit became two free-floating wall mounted shelves (at 28 kilos each…for just the shelf with nothing on it), a kitchen wine holder turned into two free floating wall shelves…. did I mention I like wood and upcycling :)
Best shops to buy from in Dublin city (IMO):
Age Action on Camden St has a high turn over of stock. If you see something you like, buy it! – Great for drawers, wardrobes, cabinets and the like.
Oxfam Home off Parnell St has a big space, but stock turn over is slow – similar stock to Age Action but seems to have more of a focus on sofas and bed frames.
Any where else recommended… I’d love to know…. :)
‘..Benny Magennis, what a man’…great presentation…suck that Matress Mick.
he certainly produces impressive stools.
This is a joke surely?
Some assembly required.
