Oh great so now it’ll become nothing but crazy stories of man eating snakes and general idiocy instead of the great work NG did over decades using real academics and scientists.

My sides…… DOB is the saviour of the planet., thanks to telecommunications and you know thinking outside the envelope. Primitive people now have cell phones just like the Irish.

Who said it was an Octopus? It’s a tentacled, parasitic invertebrate from Australia called a Murdok!

if you are worried about anatomical accuracy, Murdoch is not an octopus.

            Great drawing, Conor.

An anatomical anomaly is an anomaly.
-Although there’s no point pointing this out to you useless non-pedantic thickos, I’d rather if you could maybe be a bit more scientific if it could be possible in this discourse.

Well, that escalated quickly! Haha, cheers for the compliments, folks.

Ps, He doesn’t have any legs, just an indeterminate amount of tentacles! (There are a few more around the back that I didn’t need to draw…

Keep ’em coming, maybe they’ll allow you an informal, irregular slot like Mick Flavin or Annie West.

Conor, I think it’s an excellent cartoon, well done. You could have had a map of NW France with the City of Brest in a red circle as your National Geographic version of page 3 :) Maybe you should consider [if you’re not already doing so] using a motif/ symbol in your cartoons so people can recognise your work, or maybe as a sort of subliminal message. Keep up the good work, you’re very talented.

Thanks, Zarathustra, much appreciated. There might be another one today at some stage -if they like it!
I’ll think about a signature too. Cheers.
