Were the burgers, buns and chips made with locally sourced produce, or brought over from the States?

America is great and all but why do the Irish act like monkeys at a monolith whenever something American crosses the Atlantic.

Always liked In-N-Out in CA but I am hoping they open a Big Kahuna Burger here soon. I hear they got some tasty burgers

“act like monkeys at a monolith whenever something American crosses the Atlantic”

Because they all want you to know that they spent the summer in the states. And they’ll tell you with their faked American accents and use of words like Block (which makes no sense in Ireland) and gasoline and elevator.

Went in earlier and it was a bit meh. Burger was alright, nothing more. Bunsen, Aussie BBQ, Bobos and even Rick’s are far far better. Dunno if they had different supplies to what they use in the states but it was nothing special at all.

Paul will let you put your chilly feet under his arse on the couch tonight thanks to your robust defence of him.

Great spot. Owned by fundamentalist Christians. They put christian scripture on the burger wrappers.

No, actually. Very limited menu but they have an extensive secret menu or some such contrivance.

It’s good but I’d be torn between it and Shake Shack and Five Guys.

The best burger in Dublin is a toss up between Rick’s and Macs in the George’s St. Arcade.

Rick’s burgers are dreadful, unless you are drunk. And even then, you have to be very, very drunk. So drunk that your tastebuds are broken. Awful place. I don’t think even Rick himself would try to make such a ridiculous claim.

Why is it only open for one a half a day?
    Where are they going tomorrow?
    Who’ll take their place?
For the love of god someone answer me!!!!!

How do you get a load of J1 south-siders with fake American accents to cross the Liffey?

    Open an In-n-Out.

(Funny how each generation thinks they’re the first to discover something).

Isn’t Aldi basically Trader Joe’s, anyway? I was in the Whole Foods in London last week – it’s very nice and very expensive but hardly the 2nd coming.

    Relax.
It’s a chance for some people to meet up and take turns telling each other about their American adventure.
    A harmless bit of reminiscing.

I take it In’n’Out will open here permanently soon enough.

(By the way their burgers are just another burger, nothing worth queueing for)

As though burgers are complicated and nuanced. This “amazing burger” thing is all over London now and they’re all basically the same. It’s just another burger place.

Does anyone know how much the burgers cost, if this was just for one day as a PR stunt and if this is a franchise about to be opened?

It kind of defeats the purpose if you have to wait more than 5-10 mins or if it costs more than sitting in a restaurant. I’ve been in the drive-thru in the US and it’s a good idea as an alternative to muckDerpalds.
Slightly more expensive but made fresh, more tastier and healthier(If you can even say that about a burger)

One serious problem that I found out later is that if the meat is from the US you can almost guarantee it’s bad news as apparently 80% of US beef is stuffed full of antibiotics and other derpness thanks to their hilariously bad food production standards.
