Ireland’s European Commissioner Phil Hogan (left) at the National Ploughing Championship yesterday

“First of all I don’t agree that there’s a mess and second of all I introduced what was required of me under the Troika and you’ll have to ask the Minister for the Environment for the rest…He’s in charge of water, and Irish Water, and the delivery of a very important product called water.”

Pretty consistent with his party’s version of reality. The version he’s seeing through those goggles must be blowing him away.

the population are ‘consumers’. the term ‘customers’ impies a level of gratitude and service, ie the customer is always right. consumers however, can be thought of as no more than pigs.

If they can get their poo together, yeah. It would be lovely to have a political party to vote for, with real principles and with a solid economic and social plan.

I couldn’t give a ûck who or what the politics are at this stage

What I do want is a Government and National Executive level of our society that’s stacked with competence, qualification, integrity and independence.

Not more dopes like this Phil Hogan boyo
        And no more ûckin teachers
And no more former heads of representative bodies
        No more relatives
And no more interdepartmental back channelling

It’s disgusting that Phil Hogan is allowed to continue in politics. The guy is completely incompetent and a total failure.

It should not be forgotten that Hogan has tried to destroy the successful EU directly funded leader rural development schemes, hand it to the county councils to administer, so his political buddies and lackeys can get their hands on the funding.

Phil Hogan hiding behind the lack of accountability in Irish politics.

The above is… “intended in a jocose and private basis and certainly not intended as insulting”
