Bonkers publicity-seeking hotel patron Paul Stenson (no stranger to sheet readers) takes it up a notch.
Before you leave a negative review of the food in our White Moose Café on Facebook, may I remind you that we have CCTV cameras in our café that both capture and record footage of people horsing food into them and clearing our plates clean.
If you are not happy with your food, tell us AT THE TIME and whatever you do, DON’T F****G EAT IT. We will happily give you another dish which may better suit your discerning palate.

I will probably get slammed by them for this, but that is exactly the kind of thing that makes me not ever want to go there in the first place. They are basically telling people ‘take what you are given and be glad about it or go away’. Fine, I am going away. And if ever asked for a review, will tell others that they have an aggressive anti-complaint policy that makes my old school principal look gentle!
Well, I, for one, do not appreciate being scrutinised while I’m dining, so thanks for the heads-up Stenson, I won’t be eating in your establishment at all!
Even thought they are being dopes about it, they have a point.
Who the hell eats a whole meal they are not happy with and only complains after they’ve left when nothing can be done about it?
Based on my past experience as a waiter, I can say that most irish people do exactly that. Few are the ones cool enough to express their honest views.

I love how he responded to what was a fairly ordinary ‘bad’ review…. Using the pic above, says he..
“Do you see any dissatisfied customers here? I see one girl in particular inhaling her meal?”

He’s calling out idiots for what they are. Might not do his business much good but I doubt he cares.
He has a point.
If you are unhappy with a meal, they can only try address the problems if they know about it at the time.
And it you are going to whine about it online after, he has a means of proving you wrong.
Could we just point out that this poor woman didnt even “slate” his cafe, she simply said she was dissapointed by it. This man is a bully of the highest order and has broken the law by harassing this woman by posting her picture all over his facebook. An absolutley disgusting excuse of a human being to treat someone this way.
Agreed! An I’ve often finished meals that I didn’t think were great. Not loving a restaurant doesn’t necessarily mean it warrants complaint at the time. Especially given this particular owners obvious issues.
I’d rather sleep in my car than spend the night there, solely based on his attitude towards reviews.
