The Newfoundland band make a pleasing orchestral indie-pop sound that’s worth spending time with alone but it’s the local support that lifts this gig. Subplots released a fine album in January while Saint Sister were the hit of last weekend’s Hard Working Class Heroes festival with their Celtic harp-assisted “atmosfolk” sound. This is their debut single Madrid.
