5 or 6 a week? Jesus, that’s a veritable infestation. Gonna need more than a pest control company. You may need to go nuclear with those numbers.

Yup, the feckers sure do exist here. But numbers have not taken off, yet.

There’s one species that exists in the Malahide area. Arrived with exotic trees being planted 100 years ago and they thrived in the specific ecosystem of the immediate area.

You can buy a plug in which gives out a scent that they do not like.

    We get Mosquitos every year.

The worst ones are the Malahide Mosquitos. They are vicious!

+1 – check that out first, otherwise they could just come back. Drain anything you find, bleach the hell out of it if possible or leave to dry out (so the eggs/larvae die) and then refill.

We have the same problem. Only started since building work on huge student accommodation block started near by. Iv been bitten about 15-20 this year alone. We might get a few days of peace then you hear them again a wake up bitten.

There’s nothing worse than waking up to that high-pitched buzzing and knowing you’re something’s dinner >_<

Get the most noxious-plug in you can and maybe a repellant lotion!
