Minister doesn’t care. None of them do.
Just out of curiosity, what does the fact he’s Lithuanian have to do with anything?
Tragic death but too easily these things get exploited by the wrong groups.
Sexier
it adds to the context , i for one like context in stories I read as it gives a fuller picture.
It rarely sends me off to vote national socialist though
How does it add to the context?
What does him being a heroin addict have to do with him being a murderer?
That is a great point.
That’s a good point. Though buying and taking heroin is illegal, being Lithuanian isn’t.
I keep waiting for a question in the Dail (or indeed anywhere) along the following lines………….”Could the Minister please tell the house what proportion of murders, man slaughters and rapes were committed in this country last year by persons on bail, early release from prison or on “supended” setences”…….I suspect the answer would be interesting.
you suspect wrong .. it would not be interesting. youd just be getting anything but the answer as a reply. with lots of ‘we are doing great’ in there too. the standard minsiter response. dont answer the question, and then lie. and none of them are held accountable for it.
