We must unite aginst a terror that has no …religion

Sorry, clearly these terrorist do have a religion. Time to end appeasemnt

    1. Twunt

We have created a nation of cowards that do not know how to stand up for themselves for fear they might offend someone.

Literally, what clownish muck are you espousing? If it’s that all muslims are evil? If it is you do realise that most people on here (I’m guess you too) ARE IRISH CATHOLIC… Does that mean that because the IRA blew stuff up in our name that all Irish people were terrorists in the 70s and 80s?

    3. Annie

I see you mate – you’ve been at Spiked and are parroting Brendan O’Neill’s attention seeking but so predictable “end cultural appeasement” dross.

    4. Coco

Jack sits in Balbriggan with egg on his shirt and types “We must unite…” Imagine living with that. Then your man below with his “bleeding heart liberals”, a clown signal if there ever was one. Why do ye argue with these people?

So the Irish state has identified a man they want deported due to his involvement with terrorist groups, but as he has an Irish son he cannot be deported. So he is free to spread he hate in our country. WTF kind of a dysfunctional system have we created? Priorities are all back to front.

The blatant ignorance displayed on this site is farcical.

Twunt & Cousin Jack, I suspect you’re more than cousins.

That’s nothing compared to my brother at his wedding who we think far exceeded his bride in terms of the amount of hair product to get his do right. I wouldn’t mind only the next day and ever since his profuse locks reverted to their usual au naturel unkempt state. Wedding do funny things to people.

I spoke with someone earlier on tonight about this, someone who would readily admit that she knows nothing.
The conversation began with her telling me that we’re all going to get bombed by the 20,000 terrorists we’re about to let into the country.

She’s only 18yrs old and not the brightest penny in a pound, but it didn’t take long to explain the difference between a terrorist and a refugee.

If she can do it, you can too.

        Nice one Junglepants.
My Mother will be very pleased to be 18 again.

        She’s actually 21.
        She just looks 18.

“but it didn’t take long to explain the difference between a terrorist and a refugee.

English is not my first language, but this not make sense.
What did she do? Run away fast? Ha ha

What I meant was that it wasn’t difficult to explain to her the difference between a refugee and a terrorrist.

Maybe it was disindigous of me to point out that she isn’t very bright.
I hope she can take solace in being brighter than you’ll ever be.

        1. Twunt

No one is disputing that there is a difference between a refugee and a terrorist. But what the bleeding heart liberals fail to acknowledge is that there are terrorists hiding among them, and they mean us great harm, and that opening the borders and just letting them walk in was stupid and dangerous.

          1. FreshFish

We’re far more at risk statistically speaking from the practical fact that our own native idiots here among us might breed like rabbits as we have no abortion, and spread the stupid gene ever wider

          Haha.
I so bright mama called me sunny.
          Get ta fupp with ya.

I remember growing up and being proud of my country for NOT being racist.
    That’s all gone now.

    We’re forgetting too much.

    Open your arms.
    Embrace your new brethren…
…only then can you make judgement.
    Only then.

It’s a misconception that we were never racist

We were racist about lots of our own people – travellers, unmarried women up the duff, gays

We hustled for the black babies feeling that we and our way of life is inherently superior and they deserved our Christ driven charities

The only difference now is we can see more quickly where the idiots are

I get your point but your younger self was wrong

  7. Nially

Yeah, like, historically our ‘not racist’ actions included multiple pogroms and a total refusal to accept Jewish refugees before and during WWII. In my lifetime, we overwhelmingly passed a referendum to restrict Irish citizenship based on an imagined, invented ‘crisis’ of NIgerian women in our hospitals. The way we speak about Travellers, as a nation, is appalling. Not to get all “welcome to the desert of the real”, but the only thing that’s changed is your awareness.

  8. Demon

Northern Ireland to copy our corporation tax.

Are we about to see a repeat of an earlier government’s profoundly unintelligent move in removing tax breaks for backing films, which ruined the Irish film industry and gave a huge boost to the Northern Ireland film industry and the Northern economy?
