There’s always that other haven of carefully manicured self satisfied smugness, Angel Coffee on St. Anne Street where you hear people talking loudly about their business dealings.

You want madness, try the coffee place beside the building where NAMA & the NTMA work – they were chagring €6 for a large coffee.

You are of course correct, my expierence is 2 years old, it looks like my estimates are now €7 & €8 for a large coffee. Please, be my guest, go in and ask for a large one of these
          Bolivia
          Loayza
          €4
          Nicaragua
          Los placeres
          €3.50
          El Salvador
          La Gloria
          €3.50

@Vote Rep #1 I did not lie about it, I ordered a large coffee from them and they charged me double, no doubt they got away with it with all the nama hacks next door.

They don’t do a large coffee. You get a pot that does 2 cups. The cups are kinda small but you get 2 cups of it. Its about 4 quid so is overpriced anyway.

If you got charged €6 its because they gave you 2 coffees.

FYI, there is free coffee in the treasury building. Still, rabble rabble rabble something nama something rabble rabble rabble

I doubt the nama hacks are interested in the kenko or maxwell house on offer.
And my €6 large coffee was to go – no sign of 1/2/3 pots or anything. Normal coffee shops offer coffee in a regular or large sizes. I asked for a large coffee, I was not informed that they didn’t do such things, I was not informed they were going to give me a “double” they just made the coffee, presented me the takeaway cup and demanded €6.

Angel Coffee on Pembroke Street has the laziest & rudest staff in Dublin, I like to assume I’m in some hipster situationist art installation to avoid getting offended by them.

wow, they really pushed out the architectural boundaries there. looks like they’re going to replace “a dated 1970s office ” with a replica!

Since most ‘moden’ style offices date very quickly, they are going for the dated before its even built style.

Thinking outside of the box. I like it.

Not new building, that looks rubbish.

Gotta love the Irish method, knock down ugly building to replace with slightly newer looking but still ugly building. St. Stephen’s green is a good example of this!

A friend of mine works in Dublin’s planning dept and said it’s going to be a Burrito joint – ideal for Trinners students. It’s gonna be called #NOM #NAMA

Anyone? Crimmany it’s pretty bloody obvious. Ever single business has been moved out of the premises not just Fixx. Take a wild guess what might be happening. It’s only been closed 3 or 4 weeks.

      I don’t know.
I make my coffee at home. It’s not important to me that someone sees me drinking it.
I’d rather that nobody is looking.

      Am I weird?
I didn’t used to think I was weird.
I didn’t used to close my curtains.

I’m not sure where I stand anymore

        PS.
        I shouldn’t admit this but I’m really a tea-drinker.

When I say tea I really mean whiskey/whisky, but mostly whisky.
        You’d never know, would you?
