The Into the Woods star has been chosen by members of the US-Ireland Alliance to receive the honour in recognition of his contributions to film and television. The prize is usually given to entertainers with Irish roots, but it is occasionally handed to honorary Irishmen or Irishwomen.

Okay okay that last one isn’t true.

Okay neither of them are true.

But please mister you gotta help me!

The “members of the US-Ireland Alliance” are either deluded or have been maliciously hypnotised against their will. Cordon is a talentless chancer.

The same could be said for most of us in life….. You take your chances when you get them… That’s broadly how success works…..

He’s a ballsy and naturally gregarious enough fellow…. That accounts for a lot of his success…. For many in media and broadcasting, that’s enough.

While he’s not really my cup of tea, your description of talentless chancer is deeply flawed. His Tony and Bafta awards are testament to that. His writing and production skills have earned him huge respect and good look to him. There’s no way on earth CBS would have placed him on the LLS if he was not able to deliver…

Don’t you see that he’s “winging it” when you watch him on TV?
        Much like Ed Byrne.
        Clearly just me then.
        Fair enough.

P.S. I didn’t know that the Christian Brothers placed him on the Late Late.

No Spaghetti Hoop you are correct…he is a talent less chancer…. He is as funny as a kick in the face.

I also had the misfortune to see him hero-worship yer man Gary Barlow (only because it was on Gogglebox). Desperate stuff altogether.

lots of internet people don’t like him because he had an incident with Patrick Stewart, spiritual leader of the geeks

That would be a point in James’ favour. I like P-Stew fine but he’s as much of a Bengal Lancer as Corden
