Labour doesn’t seem too confident about re-election. It’s re-appointing quango members six months ahead of time! https://t.co/Lumr8bq5Nm — NAMAwinelake (@namawinelake) January 20, 2016

the real question is will Joanie sue the opposition for holding her captive in a no-confidence motion for several hours?
Except that the person re appointed to the board …a Ms Noreen Wright has 25 years experience of working in the electricity sector with NIE and viridian. Isn’t it good when people are appointed to board with direct experience in the area??

In fairness re-appointment is a bit of a non-issue.
Does that include succession planning?
Well if you are a political party member/ political appointee, on a non political board…can’t that lead to a potential conflict of interests? Regardless of your experience in the role?
