‘FG dropped PR firm over O’Brien legal case’.

Hmm.. so being represented by a firm being sued by O’Brien might cause ‘adverse publicity’ but giving the appearance that you are siding with DOB yet again won’t?

    Good thinking there FG HQ!

Kenny’s continued refusal to put some clear distance between himself & FG and both Lowry & DOB is intriguing.

Is he preparing for his career post-Taoiseach? Have they got something on him? Is he secretly determined to ensure that FG has the same stink sticking to them that FF does? Has he just become utterly untethered from any basic common sense?

To my mind, he is making it difficult for middle Ireland to vote for him – even if they want to for the sake of some ill-defined ‘stability’.

Maybe I just don’t understand the mindset of the electorate

I agree with you. I’d say there are huge numbers of people in FG who are tearing their hair out.

Lowry and DOB are perhaps the two of the most disliked people in Ireland. Where’s the downside to ditching them?

I get the feeling that Lowry and REDACTED know where the bodies are buried. So Kenny must play nice.

Ditching Lowry & DOB may result in the doors being blown wide open on something or some one that we don’t know about . There’s a lot more to this carry on than meets the eye.

There’s no question that the refusal to ditch either of them under the circumstances is shady enough in its own right, but there’s got to be something far shadier behind it.

      What Classter said….

it’s beyond me too… why Kenny won’t step away from the stuff that sullies him and his party; and why the people of Tipp see Lowry as a man worth voting for….. beggars belief…

In all honesty, clamps, the wise folks of tipp saw fit to elect Kelly…….. must be something in the air down there.

This Lowry thing boggles my mind. Like Pauline Kael’s (maybe apocryphal) surprise in 1972, “I can’t believe Nixon won. I don’t know anyone who voted for him.”
