I got into a thing about this magazine years ago (here on broadsheets board), with a few people who vouched that the Phoenix was a decent laugh of a read. I thought that if the cover was anything to go by then it would be kind of Mario Rosenstock/ Bull Island /republic of telly/ fare . ie: just referencing current events and things …and that’s the joke in and of itself. in other words, not funny at all . like the cover of this issue. . I mean…. “just like you and Lowry?” (?!)errr..mmm . wow. I sure wouldn’t want to be in Endas shoes now!!!
thatcherite plebs, the pair of them..
But what the people really want to know is what colour their shirts are.
Do they match Jennifer’s Cuffes?
