I bet she was dying for someone to vandalise that bright yellow and thin glassed shop front so publicity. Noone even cares post-referendum about what Iona Renua thinks we should do with ourselves

She was on the telly box last night trying to explain away their disastrous performance in the GE. She was saying that it was hard for a new party to compete with the big parties due to budget constraints. When it was put to her that the Greens and the Social Democrats did well despite the financial obstacles, she put it down to the luck of the draw and that Renua could’ve done better if the transfers were a little kinder. That’s all well and good, but I wouldn’t put it down to luck that the three elected SD candidates all topped their polls.

Pretty sure the ‘To Let’ sign as been up for at least a week now. I’m guessing she only let the office for the duration of the election?

Although I wouldn’t be a fan I do admire anyone who had the b@lls to start something new. Without endeavour there would be nothing!

Except it’s not new. Not even on the 1950s was it new.

anyone know if she is financially liable for the lost deposits of her candidates? I keep hearing it’s “HER” party.

Apparently she’s worried about how she’s going to pay the rent next month. But also, she’s not in a hurry to find another job: http://preview.tinyurl.com/zj3qdeg
Sounds to me like she could do with a bit of incentivising.
While I have no care that Lucinda has lost, I’d take great pleasure in slapping those pig ignorant fupps who jeered, booed and hissed her when she arrived at the count station… with her young daughter…. there’s low, and then there’s pathetic.

I get that there are risks when you put yourself forward like that, but that was unpleasant and unnecessary.

Yep. With you on that. I do not like the woman one bit. But what happened to her in the count centre was low, pathetic and lacked class

Actually, she was on Pat Kenny this morning and said it was only two Sinn Fein supporters who jeered her and she wasn’t carrying her daughter at the time, she came in much later. So much like the Renua vote, it was a very small minority that jeered her, but the jurno’s are just looking for a story.
I still don’t know what Renua stood for.. crap name… the Peoples Puppy Party and election posters with puppies on it and each candidate’s photo on the ballot paper would be the dog that they are most like would get more votes.

Renua still qualify to be funded by public money for the duration of this Dail term.
The irony of the most hard-right party out of a job and surviving on welfare.

Happiness is coming easily today!
This.
Ooops that didn’t work. Maybe this. (I’d left out the r in href.)
I don’t think Renua would endorse any MMF carry on
