Why use the screen grab from the video as a scree grab for the post? Too much effort? Couldn’t be arsed? I hear ya, buddy

“Whe…when are our parents picking us up?”

    “Soon”

    “You keep saying that!”

“Just marvel at how gas things that seem normal to us are strange to you”

You shouldn’t have said that Owen O’F…
-Now I’m beginning to wonder why the kids were saying that the money smelt funny and had ‘mould‘ on it.

Your own Sheik is old enough to remember imperial currency. A half crown lads, a large coin with a horse on it!! Best of all, there were EIGHT of them to a pound – great days indeed. Half a quid was too precious in those days to be reduced to a coin – instead we had a ten shilling note. Howdyah like them apples? fifty cent coin? pffft.

I remember those big red ten shilling notes MilkShake MeCootie.
-Maybe they weren’t big, but I was small at the time and they looked big.
My brother got one for his birthday.
      I never had one myself.

I used to have one of those half-crowns. I think it was the same horse that they used for the inferior 20p coin which I was never fond of myself, but I digress…

If it’s a competition to be the oldest person on Broadsheet you might as well give in now. I’m the oldest.
My behaviour is no reflection on my age, and vice-versa.
      I am very old.

I had a dream last night that I was 55yrs old.
-Extrapolate whatever you like from that, but don’t say you weren’t warned. ;-)
