In Copenhagen, Denmark.

iNudgeyou’s Junior Researchers used two cameras and four metres of duct tape to help cyclists and pedestrians travel to work more safely.

We could use that kind of thinking here.

FIGHT!

Thanks John Gallen

    That is great.
Instead of whinging about lashing the video into BS, they tried to solved the problem.
    Rock n’roll indeed.
    Good work Danish guys!

And all it took was turning ducks into tape… simple!!

Look at that, pedestrians and cars actually WAITING and not beeping or revving aggressively when bikes are proceeding. Makes me sick and sad that such a thing could never happen in this country. Cyclists are herded between busses and the kerb , or forced out onto the road. The contempt for cyclists and poor planning of proper road infrastructure is shocking.

Look at that, cyclists are apparently selfish idiots all over europe and refuse to get off their bikes if they go onto the footpath.

Good solution but it does end up just enabling this antisocial behaviour.

Look at the big blue round sign under the traffic lights , that part of pathway is for pedestrians AND bikes. Nice try though.

Those wacky Europeans with their communist ideas.

Bikes are communist! They don’t required spending on fuel and insurance!! My shares won’t grow in value with more cyclists!!

A US lawmaker decryed the increase in bike sharing systems in the US as the early stages of a communistic plot…..

      True story..

“Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Maes is warning voters that Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper’s policies, particularly his efforts to boost bike riding, are “converting Denver into a United Nations community”

you mean people of different cultures and backgrounds dedicated to the idea – more often imperfectly applied – that we should make all effort possible to get along and reach pragmatic agreement? How evil!

Groups survive better than loners, unless they are John McClanes. Dem Danes grasped it, fuppers.

Yes, its massively annoying. The vast majority of cyclists refuse to cede right of way to pedestrians there. I’m astonished there isn’t more accidents.

i fear for the human race, just shows how humans can be, easily led or herded.
    Not finest hour or day.

do you weep when you see people correctly using a swing door marked ‘push’?

    AAAAAaaaarrrghhhhhhh

its DUCT tape, not Duck Tape.

Gaffer tape if you will, but its DUCT

    DUCT DUCT DUCT.

    Pet peeve.

      1. rotide

It’s a brand in the states and it took its name from duct, rather than the other way around.

It’s available outside the US, and the provenance of the word/mark doesn’t change anything Freddie said.
