Ah here.

O’Connell Street, Dublin, during Italia 90.

Two supporters sporting budgie choker and neon cut-offs respectively, after the Ireland V Romania match.

I kept thinking of the episode of “Moone Boy” while I watched the video – also, permed hair and very bad moustaches? Great footage.

For those who don’t remember, ALL of dublin was like this, not just O’Connoll st. I spent a part of the afternoon on the back of a flatbed truck that happened to be passing and took a tour of a lot of the southside, it was all like this.

    Good times :)

That was back in my school days. We didn’t ask for lifts back then. we took them.

As it turned out, I didn’t really need to.

Bailed on the matric’s to watch Ireland Romania.

Heh. I stayed on and scored lots of lovely As. I was too much of a nerd to leave.

Funny to think that that’s rare footage of O’Connell St. Nowadays, not only is footage of anything that happens in public no longer rare, most of us could honestly say that there’s no rare footage of anything that happens in our houses, either.

Hilarious stuff! The fashion for mens jeans to all look like Mom jeans, and the last year of the moustache as un-ironic….Great days. I celebrated with a HB Feast Choc ice

It was bloody awesome. My mate Matt drove us up and down O’Connell Street for about an hour. The feeling in the city was amazing.

Was on O’Connell street that day, gang of people dancing in the Anna Livia fountain. Then some bloke threw up in the fountain and ruined it for everyone.
