I am a National College of Art and Design (NCA) BA hons student in my final year and doing my degree show at the moment.

I had one of my degree show pieces that I created for Newbridge Silverware in my car and it was stolen at about 1am on Wednesday morning in Portlaoise. My car was parked behind my house on the Mount Mellick Road.

This piece is approximately 16 inches high and 10 inches wide and is arch shaped.

They also took a gift I had for my dad for Father’s Day which was another piece of my art work. I am aware that I shouldn’t have left them in the car but I just forgot to bring them in!

Anyone?

was a passenger as we drove through there last year en-route, thankfully we couldn’t find super macs & drove on, resulted in me stopping making a nose with my tie.

I don’t know if it would have been actually possible given the length of my tie, in fact I didn’t realise I was trying until I looked down as we hit the M7 . I think it was a subconscious act, probably triggered when passing the high walled structure on entering the town.

well aware of the spelling after hitting submit on the initial post, play along & windup, is that not the name of the game on this site?

I hope they manage to catch the vile excuse for a human being who carried this out, at least it’s a very unique piece so easy to spot, hope you get it back!

Ah it’s not that bad a piece of art now in fairness.

    Ah no. Sickening :(

Crazy that posts now have to include a “I know I should have…” statement to ward off the inevitable victim-blaming comments.
