I’m no Chris Evans hata but he wasn’t very good. Show needed to be refreshed rather than have new presenters just slotted in. Stig, celeb thing etc are all tired

Think can say this here, Chris nick named car sick, cause he actually got car sick, when driving fast cars.
On a car show and especially one such as Top Gear.
That was bound to end badly.
Know Clarkson and other 2, were messers and all rest but it was a gas to watch.

Though he can put on his cv, now that he once hosted top gear.

Maybe, but i’d say it was mostly because he was cr@p at it…
The BBC, said they would stand by him, with the knife ready to do the usual.

The allegations, that he exposed himself way back, to ones he was working with.
He was drunk for lot of that time.
All doing mad stuff.

Not saying it`s ok for him to be doing that but.
He had the balls to step into top gear so to speak.
Just that he never got to the very top gear and ended up grinding his gears and the audience`s gears as well.

I thought he was OK, he knew about cars anyway which put him ahead of the previous three presenters. it’s a great opportunity for one of the other presenters to step up if given the chance… and support.
He was too serious, top gear is not serious or to be taken seriously.
Didn’t think having two hosts is enough . I would’ve liked to see Steve Coogan, and Stewart Lee hosting because fupp it, seems like a poisoned chalice now at any rate.

Now that I think of it, Nigel has nothing on at the moment and would be a great Clarkson.
