Ken Clarke has nailed it. Michael Gove is a dangerous lunatic, Theresa May a right cow, Liam Fox a wing-nut, Leadsom a non-entity! It could be the beginning of the end of the Tories.
Labour are poised to capitalise on it……..wait, no.
It would be great to see the back of the Labour Party too, especially Red Jeremy – the most useless sceptre since Michael Foot.
You’d wonder if it was the West Wing plotline they were emulating or the Yes Minister one…
“accidentally caught on camera” my foot a well set up demolition job. But he’s not wrong
If I was that cogent after a long lunch, I’d be delighted with myself.
He definitely knew what he was doing, and did it very well.
Yea, I wondered.
It is entertaining either way.
Indeed. The idea of a man of his experience shouting controversial things in a television studio, unaware that someone might hear or record is risible.
Don’t see an issue. He comes across really well and speaking the truth. ‘Bloody difficult’ is not really pejorative towards women. Just one of his opinions on a number of people.
Heavy on the gin and tonic, looks like a liquid lunch.
He’s on a push through from a mad Monday session
Just like the tories, too much gin and not enough tonic.
No fan of many Tories, but Clarke has always struck me a decent sort.
He’s not angling for any more ministries, so can speak his mind and cause mischief.
Here is an interesting discussion about why the boarding school Tories make such bad leaders:

Love the candour, if only all politics was like this…. :(
