There are more people claiming to be “artists” outside the GPO than there were others claiming they were inside it in ’16!

does anybody get the irony here a group of people who want abortions celebrating birth in song?

well steve, one issue is real and the other is a time of year to do with religion which isn’t real at all.

Not all Christmas songs are about a virgin giving birth to a child that’s his own father. Some celebrate the pre-christian hijacking season of Yuletide. Others celebrate the venality and commercialism (12 Days of Christmas). There’s passages in the bible dedicated to celebrating god’s several mass murder sprees. All that “pharoah, his chariots and his horsemen” stuff at easter glorifying god’s bloodlust? Creepy!

Many women have been told their miscarriage was “god’s will”, so god aborting a baby is okay, but a woman doing it isn’t?

You’ve raised lot of points here to try to refute the point that this is people singing about abortions to the tune of songs written to celebrate a birth. But one point in particular…..what does the 12 days of Christmas have to do with commercialism??

You don’t think buying 364 presents for someone over 12 days is about christianity, do you?

“Have yourself a merry little forced birth.
          Kept on life support
8th amendment gives your foetus much more rights.
Though your kids see your bloated corpse
Rotting brains and all, it’s fine.
          Foetal heartbeat takes precidence
          over your dignity and rights…”

Unquestionably there is an inadequate number of babies killed in this world. Surely the Greens can get behind this?

I hear there is at least one or more religious persons in RTE trying to discourage coverage of the Repeal movement. Is that not contrary to their Public Charter and utterly sinister? If the Vatican (a foreign state) are interfering in the editorial policy of RTE, then it’s akin to espionage. If I was in power, I’d have these people investigated.
