“Put women in power or lose funding”…. well, it was great to hear athletes on RTE Radio 1 this morning decryng this female quota ultimatum as stupid.
The sport needs professionals not quotas, and that’s what the female athletes are saying.

Male dominated sport- is it any wonder it is male dominated? About time women get proper recognition- I find it hard to explain to my daughter who is interested in sport as to why all the attention goes on the boys. Quotas may be a bit of a blunt instrument- but it is still a low percentage.
