   The power stations with the big chimneys are called Pooolbeg (the low ones are the gas station and the tall ones the decommissioned older oil (and later gas) station).

   Pigeon House is the really old power station that you can’t really see in the picture from the early part of the C20th and next to the C18 hotel

   The piece of land is also called Poolbeg

   I’d say at least 25% of these pics have the Poolbeg chimneys in them :-)
