looks like dvds rather than cds so could indeed be the suave Mr Grant
As the owner of that box set, I can confirm that it is Cary Grant. The other one you can see is the complete Northern Exposure.

yeah cos it’s clearly a studio and the dog is sitting on the crying chair, so there’s no possibility that there’s books anywhere out of shot
I can confirm that there are books on other shelves. And other DVDs and Blu-Rays and whatnot on other shelves. And a big pile of random lightbulbs on another shelf. Also some inexplicable cables.
