Could also read “Irish Snowflakes protesting at the Israeli West bank wall” and “Irish Snowflakes protesting at Palestinians being banned from entering Palestine”

Poor Eamoan. So angry, so bitter, so frustrated.

Do you suffer from tiny willy hands syndrome like Trumplethinskin?

You gotta speak to them in their own language though. They’re the ones who throw around this “beta male” stuff when you disagree with them. But there’s not a man among them.

These people think the definition of strength and manliness is to shriek hysterically and bar the door to the terrifying women and children fleeing war and famine. They actually call real men and real women, who want to help those weaker than themselves, weak for doing so. When all they are are frightened little boys, punching down. While they’re gaining power we’re punching up by calling them sad little freaks whose mommy’s didn’t hug them enough.

            “These people…”

Love that line, one always knows there’s only quality to follow it. What happened you ahjaysiz… got sick of seeing everyone of your friends wearing the same animal print as you or something? I’m sure it’s nothing…. but your ‘they’ ‘they’ ‘they’ really has gone all the way up to 11 since *cough* that election result.
Mind yourself, and all me best

            Jus’ sayin’.

            “What happened you ahjaysiz”

You might want to ask yourself the same question, Clampers.

Clampers, ‘you all’ speak like you’ve learned a script. You’re all ostensibly Irish but speak about politics almost exclusively in far-right terms more common in the US. You speak in alien terms, put simply. Terms that have crossed the Atlantic in a strangely uniform way only over the last year or two. And you don’t debate – you insult and gaslight and flail about with conspiracy theories. Or you dissemble and say you’re on the same page about X, but then spend ten paragraphs destroying X in favour of the fascist Y. Who/which you’re totally against.

I’m sorry, but when I hear words like snowflake or beta male or the like, I know I’m talking to a drone. And wasting my time. A mind emptied and re-filled with the foreign propaganda and vocabulary of a throwback fascist movement founded by lonely teenage boys who just knows feminism is why no one will shag them.

So yes, I view you, someone radicalised by a bunch of racists and conspiracy theorists as somewhat of an ‘other’, I’m afraid.

If being othered bothers you, that’s just deliciously ironic. Try not to be a snowflake about it ;o)

@ahjaysiz…. Did someone pee on yo cornflakes? …anyway…

…”but speak about politics almost exclusively in far-right terms”
Nah… just you’re not capable of seeing anything outside your own view as anything but far-right, unfortunately. Trapped in some sort of ‘with me or against me’ mode.

Never in my life until this minute have I used the ‘beta’ phrase you refer to.

But I’ve watched you throw it at myself as if it meant something these past few weeks… and it made me grin every time as it just confirmed that you don’t read comments. You just reply to what you think you read or what you wanted to have read.

You project, you accuse, you strop, you bloat, you ‘other’ constantly, you label ‘fascist’, ‘homophobe’, ‘islamaphobe’, etc like a petulant child … it’s all a bit sad. I could almost feel a breeze on my face reading your comment, with all the finger waving and pointing in it…

That said, if othering means I am the polar opposite of some person whose extent of commentary is being a labeling junkie of others they disagree with, that’s fine by me, I’ll gladly be othered, and accept the othering with great pleasure.

Good day ahjaysiz, do be careful now.

Any point you were trying to make is lost with the ridiculous use of snowflake, stop trying to use idiot American sayings.

        1. Daisy Chainsaw

Enough snowflakes together will cause a blizzard… and they can bring the country to a standstill.

  2. Daddy

Loads of Americans travel to Iran all the time. It’s a very safe and friendly country. The only ones who get into trouble are the ones who are not there in the capacity they claim to be.

  3. dav

Nice meme, can’t wait for the ones after trump decides that American Muslims resident in the USA will require extreme vetting – maybe he’ll intern them until his vetting is over, eh?

Em… hang on….. a snowflake isn’t someone who doesn’t protest. A snowflake is a numpty who gets incensed when the world doesn’t agree with their singular point of view and so heads straight out for a march at any opportunity because they had their views challenged.
And off they go, with their fellow snowflakes en masse and outraged because they are too sensitive to understand that the world doesn’t view everything the way they do …and that upsets them enough to march….

    I thought this was common knowledge…. but hey… whatever…

No snowflakes were harmed in typing this, although it is not known if any were triggered.

Everyone knows when someone challenges your worldview you’re supposed to just accept that person is right and you are wrong and shut up and keep your head down.

      1. Listrade

We need to give a sweeping generalisation for the alt-right snowflakes.

Maybe Muon, they spin to the right, have a large mass, are unstable and have weak interaction and you never see them in normal events or normal life, only in high-energy interactions detected on a computer display when you can’t avoid the b*stards.

        1. Clampers Outside!

“alt-right snowflakes” ….eh… couldn’t the left just get it’s own put down rather than taking and twisting the meaning from the other knobs? Kinda lazy and meaningless, and it’ll be difficult to tell them apart if they are all snowflakes…. although, can’t imagine an alt-right type engaging in this type of pubic display of total outright breakdown snowflakeyness…

The flakeing begins at approximately 1m52secs …very sad…

Alt right types are.more into savage online abuse, doxxing, death threats, rape threats and powerful positions in thr US government, but God forbid we turn their terms of abuse back on them, people might get confused.

          2. Listrade

Ha clampers, you were one step away of accusing us of cultural appropriation. You’ll be after my dreads next.

Anyway, as painful as that video is, I’m going to stick my neck out and say that publicly embarrassing outbursts like that and on twitter is preferable to a mass shooting. As far as misplaced political beliefs go, I’m gonna side with those who stick to making a tool out of themselves in public rather than the murderous ones.

          3. Clampers Outside!

            *slaps knee *
G’wan the Listrade…. that comparison is beneath your normal standard of well researched remarks, in all fairness.

Yo dude, don’t drop your good standards my man

      2. ahjayzis

Especially when it comes to your rights and bodily autonomy. Can’t you just accept the rights of a majority of strangers having a right to interfere in your private life – if they feel you’re too whorish or insufficiently discriminated against?

      1. Nigel

I AM YOUR GOOD SNOWFAIRY JUSAYINLIKE YOU SHALL HAVE THREE WISHES SO LONG AS YOU WISH FOR THINGS MADE OF SNOW AND INTERSECTIONALITY..

He can follow the Yellow Snow Road with the Clampery Lion, the Tin Bodger and the Straw SJW while being chased by the Wicked Feminist Of The West.

    1. Listrade

Too right! I’m with you 100%. Where were these snowflakes in 1169 when Diarmait Mac Murchada invited the Normans over paving the way for 800 years of occupation and tryany?

Probably sat at home making angry tapestries about the (to be) Saint Malachy goin’ around doing god’s work by continuing the Roman Catholic Patriarchy.

  5. Gah!

A pox on the next person to use the term “snowflake”. Almost as annoying as “That moment when…”.
