Am I the only of 30k followers who likes the Papers tweets?
I saw a lady in the park earlier reading Broadsheet on a tablet.

I thoroughly enjoy your posts here, for what it’s worth. The one on Sunday, I think it was, was lovely.

Sunday is a Holy Day, I’m usually on me best behaviour.
I just come to Broadsheet to shout at the bad news though.

        @Joe cool
She was wearing rags and feathers from Salvation Army counters and the sun poured down like honey whilst I lay there with a heartburn.

And you called Broadsheet ghoulish? Point scoring at the expense of the dead. Shame on you.

    re. Brexit
    we are thoroughly fupped

yer man Barnier isn’t here to help us…he’s merely keeping the rest of Europe calm demonstrating the old brotherly shoulder to shoulder crapola

when the time comes we’ll be left flapping in the breeze

Enda will be retired off by then and happily delivering exec tedtalks powerpoints somewhere

defo if I was in my 20’s I’d be busy with emigration planning now

      Pretty much.
Whatever source you’re reading it from, he’s asking us to “take one for the team”.

Hopefully there’s a Plan B. Somehow I doubt it though.

history tells you there isn’t one

I felt sick watching him yesterday, tea and sympathy

You’re very negative overall making it hard to take you seriously in general

I agree though that we’re on a downward trend

Whereas you are a rare beacon of hope and positivity on this site.

Or, of course, as an English speaking country Ireland is in prime postiion to pick up a lot of the jobs which will hemorage from the UK post Brexit.

what do you mean ‘history tells you there isn’t a Plan B.

          We’ve got make one.

And not rely on Kenny to do it for us!

We will get some big MNCs moving from the UK over here, but yes, it will be very tough on a lot of SMEs (particularly anyone near the border).

Very unfortunate for everyone in Ireland (and very, very unfortunate for everyone in Northern Ireland), but the will of the people and all that…

is the fact that the central bank is detecting so many instances, and issuing fines, of late not evidence of improving financial regulation?

Nothing about poor Brendan and our failed Eurovision bid. “Dying To Try”? Well I’d add the word “Drugs” into the title as talk about getting a raw deal. One of the worst songs to emerge from our island in years and remember we sent a Turkey over to sing. In no criticising Brendan or the backing vocalist by the way, they did their best with what was a big ball of shi+e that was somehow picked in secret obscurity.

As poor auld Bill O Herlihy used to say “Okey Doke, we’ll leave it there so”.

Felt very sorry for the young lad. Nice voice, not so nice song (not awful, just a wee bit bland), and not much stage presence.

I’d only love to see someone with a bit of personality and the pipes to match.
