Not my argument – UK will always import foodstuffs, but once the negotiations collapse without agreement Irish produce will be subject to tariffs and a likely anti eu backlash by English shops and consumers.
There will likely a push on buying Commonwealth stuff – Aussie/Canadian beef – new zeland lamb – that sort of stuff.
The only way Kerry group will be able to trade in England is to brand themselves as an English company – rename themselves “Wellington-Duke” with the tagline “one born in a stable does not make one a horse”
