I can’t wait for the next round of photos featuring Leo and Justin.
Strolling down the beach eating ice cream with their trousers rolled up around their ankles, out shopping together on Grafton St., in the bath..
Topsy
I wonder does Leo fancy Mr. Canada?
Malta
Probably just as much as the rest of us do!
mildred st. meadowlark
He’s so dreamy.
Bertie "Loves Jo Joyner" Blenkinsop
I don’t see it.
Janet, I ate my avatar
only his thighs
look closer
Sheik Yahbouti
Mmmm, can hardly wait
Shayna
I was away at the week-end, came back and now there are Union flags and Ulster Flags flying outside where I live in South Belfast. It may appear incongruous, but I”m spending 11/12/13 July in Dublin with my Protestant mate, Andy. It may turn out to be terrible, but I’ve rented a 1 bed just behind St. James’s Gate.
mildred st. meadowlark
Best of luck to you Shay! I work up that way and it’s a great area. I love it anyway.
Happy Molloy
Do you add to head to Guinness?
mildred st. meadowlark
I’m going to say yes.
Happy Molloy
that’s a key role
Owen
I’m not sure how I feel about Protestants being in the capital. Sure god only knows what they’d get up to, with their extra verse and that. And sure they stand up at all the wrong times.
Shayna – are you a boy or girl? Cause if you’re a girl and you’re not married to Andy we will have to have a serious think about this anti Catholic approach to Dublin. This is not laughing matter.
Other then that, I hope you get the weather.
Shayna
Last time I looked in the bath, which was quite recently, all the evidence pointed towards female.
I'm "alright" Jack. Mad Jack is on annual leave.
Sounds reassuring
Shayna
Andy is my friend, is all.
Janet, I ate my avatar
sure didn’t they build all the nice bits ;)
I'm "alright" Jack. Mad Jack is on annual leave.
Just for 3 days?
Anyhoo I had folks over visiting recently and took them to Book of Kells, Christchurch and Dublin Castle. The latter was the most interesting from a neutral pov- I mean it’s interesting to see how the Viceroys etc literally lorded it over us all here back in the day. Not that much has changed
Shayna
Sorry Preposterous – I’m a bit in the wind!
Smith
Already all the fluffy Leo photos. We get it: he’s gay, young, ethnic minority, photogenic and seemingly progressive. Forget about the carefully orchestrated PR. Forget about his right-wing agenda, anti-working class sentiment. HE GETS UP EARLY.
I'm "alright" Jack. Mad Jack is on annual leave.
Who cares? He presents a lot more modern and progressive image of the country than some sad oul fella dad dancing in jeans his wife picked out for him at Penneys. All these lads actually do is gurn for Ireland they don’t do any actual work
edalicious
Enda’s runners and jeans combo was an embarrassment to the nation.
Shayna
I have to say, I’d forgotten the gay thing, I was a tad more focussed on the whole right-wing aspect of Fine Gael. I’d be a Fianna Fail type -except Fianna Fail aren’t who I remember. Dev is gone- a long time ago! Now, he wasn’t the best of us, admittedly, but – he did deliver a divided country..
Shayna
Sorry, I went a bit political on it – apologies!
Malta
Shayna, are you insomniac or do you work irregular ours?
(Just being pure nosey, cos you always seem to post in the early hours)
Shayna
I’m a free-lance autocue operater – and I’m insomniac!
Sailor
Why is Jack chambers TD out running with Leo? Oh wait!
Shayna
Yes, I saw that!
Shayna
Anyhoo, I’ll be in Temple Bar, in the pub – I know it’s over-priced and it’s a tad touristy. But next week, there’s going to be an influx of types from the North. It’s the the 12th of July thing. I’d be the skinny blonde six foot tall type . (Yikes, I’m 6 feet 2).
Lush
Ah not Temple Bar Shayna; there’s better places than that in Dublin.
Shayna
Sure, but everyone knows it. I gots to goes there. I’ll sip tea earlier on Grafton Street, then go to town in Temple Bar.
I'm "alright" Jack. Mad Jack is on annual leave.
Depends what you’re after. People actually enjoy themselves in the Temple Bar pub you wouldn’t know much about having fun though by the looks of it
Lush
You’re so sweet.
Shayna
Despite being a Dub (born in Stillorgan) I’m a Tyrone type.
Shayna
I’ve never done the Guinness thing. Anyhoos, I’m pretty much determined this time.
Happy Molloy
myself and some of the regulars here are heading out for beer tonight. I’ll send you a DM
Shayna
I’ll not be in Dublin until next Tuesday, where you’ll find me in The Temple Bar. As explained earlier, I ‘ll be the unlikely blonde tall type.
Sheik Yahbouti
” Oh, I’m looking for a woman, about five foot six – ain’t into glamour, just in to kicks – just a sweet talking lady, stepping dynamite, who’ll take me for granted in the heat of the night……
Shayna
I made the mistake of misquoting song lyrics a while back, it’ll come back to haunt you.
Bertie "Loves Jo Joyner" Blenkinsop
Usual place?
Shayna
Do you have to ask?
Shayna
Sorry, Bertie, it appears there’s a delay!
Happy Molloy
absolutely. don’t “forget” your wallet this time!
dav
Enjoy your stay Shayna, hope the weather is good and remember to drop your eyes and tug your forelock if you come across any member of the government here. You’ll know them by their lack of compassion and complete distain towards the poor and homeless here
Shayna
I’m no stranger, born here, etc. I know how to behave, without getting arrested by your local garda.
Jesus Wept
North Kora looks fairly nice.
Frilly Keane
‘nawful shame the Dubs had to get one of their footballers to demonstrate hurling
no wonder they don’t want to go to Thurles
Shayna
I don’t get the whole Tipp thing, kind’ve alright at hurling, bit not that great at football.
Frilly Keane
well
Shay
why not come down ‘hur
a bit earlier than the 12th exodus
on Sunday
Plenty of Nordie Regs will be there
I’ve a spare ticket n’all
then you’ll get the Tipp thing
Shayna
Nordie Regs? I’m a Dub, but brought up to be a Tyrone type.
Frilly Keane
‘meant the cars
they’ll be loads of Ulster Hurling people down on Sunday
Shayna
Loads – Really? Hmm.
Frilly Keane
Sur gimme a pm or Gmail Shay
James Gate is in my vicinity anyway
Shayna
(but) – yikes!
bisted
…Mattie…Lowry…AK47…they have to be good at something…
Shayna
There’s currently a guy on BBCNI News explaining golf?
Shayna
I’d often wondered about BS reader types, and whether I’d like to meet them. I was in Brighton a couple of years ago and was mistaken for Bono’s daughter’s friend (I know). Anyhoos, the guy I was talking to was from Dublin, I mentioned Broadsheet, and not only did he know The Preposterous Type, but he was was his best mate. Following a chat with the tall chap at BS – he had no idea about the fellow.
I'm "alright" Jack. Mad Jack is on annual leave.
Lol
It Won't Stand Up In Court
Come on Northern Ireland Come on
Why are you back living in Belfast of all places Shayna, is it work?
