I have often wondered how I have managed for most of my 80 years without receiving text messages. I have just received one from Three telling me that Kasabian will be at the 3Arena in Dublin in November.

I can’t wait.

Tom Grealy,

Galway.

Ahhh “Tom”… I get you now.

So why did “Tom” have 6 phones in the first place? Let alone having 2 “he” can’t find, who has 6 phones in 3 years?

No evidence in this case is more damming then some evidence.

I have been paying precisely zero attention to the guards thing but if i was ever involved in a tribunal and they needed my old phones, they’d be S.O.L. Over the last 6 years or so I’ve had about 7 or 8 phones, I could surrender exactly one to the inquiry.

Well Tom probably signed up to Three Plus to receive presale codes. Not sure they can personalise the service to send you only bands you like.

I liked that letter, it made me smile!

I used to love the letters section of the paper but they’re generally not great these days. My father has been mourning their demise for some time now, he used to always go straight to the back page. Letters and deaths.
At least he still has the deaths.

I thought it was a clever Kasabian reference but alas t’was some old fashioned cacografy.
The condescending ‘pops’ is the cherry on top.
