SKY has no pronunciation department as the BBC has. To be fair neither has RTE.

They’re both pretty hard words, in fairness. And it’s not as if Irish newsreaders pronounce ‘Macron’ correctly or anything.

i once heard a yank TV reader pronounce the name of itreland’s republican-but-not-at-all-connected-with-bombers party as “sin fin”, like it were a fish’s naughty part.
