The HSE is an absolute joke of a bottomless pit for money. How can the govt give the board more and more money, even before the year has started and already they know there will be a deficit by the end of the year?!?!
Murtles
The wasteage that goes on in the HSE is astounding, it’s a pity Prime Time wouldn’t do a programme on it. I’ve seen skip loads of brand new equipment behind hospitals e.g. crutches used once or twice are not recycled, same with wheelchairs (surely they could be sanitised and tested before reissue even if only used 2 or 3 times). I’ve seen 35 brand new mattresses (worth about €700 each) dumped as they were not labelled orthopaedic. There are multiple buildings in every major town rented by the HSE for various offices, clinics and usually the rent is way above market value as the clients are the HSE. Its scandalous.
Amorphous Kerry Blob
Do you work in the HSE?

Still no sign of water refund. Yogi Murphy and his FFGLAB boyos still putting in water charges. Their downfall.

” Study of Wikipedia editors shows that politically diverse or even polarised teams create articles of higher quality than politically homogeneous teams. https://t.co/bjPqWqLAXE ”
Worth a read, but probably not if you like living in a leftist (or right leaning) echo chamber.
Echo Chambers produce inferior work: ” Study of Wikipedia editors shows that politically diverse or even polarised teams create articles of higher quality than politically homogeneous teams. https://t.co/bjPqWqLAXE “
Clampers, of all the unintentionally funny things you’ve said here, complaining about echo chambers by literally repeating yourself is my new favourite. Extra ironing provided by the fact you spend your whole time blaming the left for every ill you see in the world.
Go A Way
COME On LW leave it out its Xmas
But you’re right of course!
It’s great that you get such amusement from that little mistake… *chuckles*
Regarding your ‘blame’ point, I put responsibility at the feet of whoever is pushing the nonsense, regardless of right or left.
If one side is the dominating view, it is only probable, and here demonstrable, that that would be the side taking most flack for, in this example, inaccuracies. As the article demonstrates. Wikipedia is predominately left, so leftists get the flack as they control the output. Simples.

Of course, forgive me. If any one of us here has established themselves as a balanced critic of both sides of a political divide, it’s you ;)

It’d be fine as an argument in a controlled environment like a newspaper who recruit and train their staff. But all editors at Wikipedia are volunteers and there is no recruitment. Anyone can be an editor there, that’s why there have been plenty of issues with people sock-puppeting to amend articles on themselves.
There are currently over 130,000 active editors at Wikipedia. I’d be happy to see your proof that they are predominantly left. Let’s round it up to proof that at least 66,000 are left.

Shhhh…. don’t interfere with Clamper’s biased narrative…. you’ll be accused of bias.

Seriously? Who told you Wikipedia is predominantly leftist? What on earth could be the source for such a statement? (I have no idea what Wikipedia is, predominantly, other than a quick first glance at a subject for an overview, just to be clear.)
