Bring it on! Groups have worked hard for decades to get rid of the 8th amendment and finally there’s light at the end of the tunnel

This will be a very hard fight. Their misrepresentation of the treatment of Children with Downs is just a 1st shot of a dirty campaign

Doesn’t look like a straightforward referendum. (Usual loaded FG take on things). Looks like the no side only have a conditional choice of putting the power of legislation in the hands of the Oireachtas. Maybe Taunton can explain?

Problem is the people who need to vote on this, young people, are voting in poor numbers.
And the oul fart and religious nut jobs vote in large numbers.

I think that this, like the marriage equality ref, will have the younger voters out in force.

And I think that those young people who did vote in the marriage ref got to see their vote make a difference.

Which is a bit different from when I first started using my vote, and I got to vote against the Lisbon treaty twice.

Alot of muppets on here thinking abortion on demand was the next step after 8th Repeal. I laugh at thee…never gonna happen

    All is allowed
    If abortion is choice,
    If the choice is murder,
    If murder is allowed,
    All is allowed.
