The funeral of writer Emma Hannigan at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church.
In 2007, Ms Hannigan, a bestselling author, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
She died on Saturday in the Blackrock Clinic.
Ms Hannigan was 45 and leaves behind husband Cian and children Sacha and Kim.

I listened to Siddartha Mukherjee on Desert Island Discs recently. Cancer isn’t going anywhere, I fear.

Very sad. She was a lovely lady, so she was.
So young. I read the FB post in which she announced that death was imminent and it contained so much wisdom. Condolences to her family and friends.
A life too short though well lived and a lasting legacy for her family to hopefully take some comfort from. RIP.
