It seems this may be a horrific tragedy for this young woman and her family. Desperately sad.

        Ah she knew something !
These things don’t just happen out of the blue.
You’d wonder what her and Graham’s wife turned a blind eye to.

Maybe but Jayyyyysus. I doubt anyone would suspect this level of sicko.

A shocking week with two brutal murders and no justice served. Heartbreaking for the families. Renewed fear and danger on our streets in daylight hours is also a tragic consequence.

      “and no justice served.”

Yet, in the case of Ana.

Give the Gardaí a break. They’re working hard. After arrests are made, legal process has to happen.

      1. Spaghetti Hoop

Huh? I didn’t criticise the job of the Gardaí in my comment. I was merely pointing out that one alleged murderer is dead and the other still at large.

some people would think that justice was served in the Rathmicheal case – Judge Dredd style.

Oh that poor woman, only in Ireland three years. What a nightmare. An only child, heaven help her parents.

    1. Dinny Do Well?

As a parent of an only child, I can only imagine the depth of the pain and sorrow.

Really awful news. Such a strange case for Ireland. Kidnapped at the side of the road I mean. The poor girl and her family

Maybe not as strange as you think. If the woman who witnessed it hadn’t been driving along, it may well have been another missing person unsolved case.

      1. Spaghetti Hoop

Agreed. I can count too many Irish people (including kids) that have been abducted and murdered, or are still missing presumed such.

      2. GiggidyGoo

Maybe there will be other cases solved now? I somehow doubt this was a one off.

Such a slight little one, only 5ft. Awful, awful news.
Annie mc Carrick had a link to Enniskerry but remains never found.

  6. Dinny Do Well?

Appalling. I’d hope somehow a positive end might happen. So sad, random, twisted. RIP and condolences to her family.

The Filipino community are a credit to Ireland, this is so sad for them all, and for us.
