“Jeremy Corbyn he’s in the RA…” That right wing bile from the telegraph is just depressing. What’s after dog whistling?

that’s a fine combo dontcha worry

especially if you managed to match up them rashers with some fresh fluffy batch bread with an inch of butter

here’s a fascinating fact, did you know that rashers are an Irish invention? Henry Denny, Waterford in 1820.

and although it doesn’t really go well on batch bread Sudocrem – Thomas Smith, Cabra in 1931

The new statesman’s piece on the death of liberalism should be interesting.
It’s an understandable trend, left-leaning liberalism is on the verge of ruling many “western” democraticish countries.
Be it on issues like mass immigration, military action directed foreign states, deeper EU integration or an overly tolerant hug a thug justice system people have little or no say. Very often decisions made by the ruling parties are at odds with public opinion. Political strongmen for lack of a better term are offering a solution to this.
That is one of the reasons why people are flocking to them.
In the context of Ireland, I find the government’s team EU at all costs stance worrying. They are content to let the EU use us as a stick to beat the British with a respective of the financial and political costs to the people on this island.

Hmmm, which one did you read? The one I read was about how the left suffered because it was abandoned by political parties in favour of the centre. Not quite the same thing.

But then I read the next piece complaining at how Oxbridge is always used as examples of elitism and it’s really not fair. And all was right once again with the world.

So now Varadkar will accept a ‘Outline’ of a plan in June. That’s a bit different that the ‘real and meaningful progress’ line he was peddling a week or two ago.
His ‘backstop’ in down the toilet, and he is once again being played along by his EU buddies.
    Grow a pair Varadkar!

      What’s Shazzer up to?

I’d sign up to Conor’s self-defence classes in a heartbeat, but I’d be worried about getting caught up in a gangland feud.
