Yep. Farms need some real rain after the weeks of drought. We all need real rain to top up the water reservoirs. Have the American Indian rain-dancers been at it?

My arborealist schooled me up about ‘branch drop’ which affects heavy tree boughs during prolonged periods of drought. If you hear a heavy cracking sound overhead, leg it as fast as you can.

I bought two bottles of white in The Green Man on the way. I like it. The main guy wears his learning lightly.
            That kind of talking?

this won’t bode well for the propaganda machine in Irish Water.. I guess they will have to find a new angle to deflect from the fact that our water shortage issues stem from years of failure from the filth in successive governments who ignored, lied, mismanaged and squandered billions of euro in taxpayer money that should have been invested in maintaining the network.

PS Mildred – just watching ‘Dr Pimple Popper’ on channel 121. Rivetting. Sad what you have to resort to now the World Cup is over! ;-(

Dave is gone from Virgin. They won’t pay UKTV enough for various English channels so we’ve lost them. No QI 14 hours a day anymore.
I love both Futurama AND Family Guy. One of my favourite scenes is the entire Griffin family puking. And anything with Dr Zoidberg. And Snoo-snoo.

All played out on QI (watched from the beginning), ditto Futurama, and Family Guy is far too filthy for an elderly person :-D Dr P has fatty lipomas, warts, wens and carbuncles beyond your wildest dreams! Followed by some sort of reality show about Katie Price, which I’m not watching.

Have you got Netflix? For a tv junkie like me, it’s too much. Makes me emotional.

No. For me telly died when Eir bought BT sports & Setanta sports and I lost the Italian football. I will NEVER subscribe to those….. people, no matter what :-(

BTW, my younger relatives assure me that Netflix is fine. it’s Virgin and Eir that I have a gripe with.
