            yeah! promised myself a few years ago that i’d stop going to nostalgia gigs… had to make an exception with this. have never seen them before.

            (trivia: fellow i used to work for met his wife in the studio audience of top of the pops in 1980 – both were there to see madness and both ended up dancing together as part of the orchestrated stage invasion at the end of the performance. said when the music stopped, they were holding hands… and it went from there)

      I saw them on their first come-back tour in the Point, what, 12 years ago? It was one of the best gigs I’ve been to. The atmosphere was just amazing, and the people we all, ahem, mad. Great night.
      Saying that, my expectations going in weren’t very high – but we had a fantastic night.
