District8 is closing soon too isn’t it? With Tripod gone years, Hanger gone, District8 going… Is there even anywhere of a reasonable size left in Dublin for dance music gigs? Button Factory I guess at a push, is that it?

In other news, the bewleys on westmoreland St that was until recently a Starbucks is now a TGI Fridays.
It used to be a great little theatre… and music venue and nightclub but like all the great cities, their hearts are turning into tourist traps…. temple bar has long crossed the Dame street divide and all those people need a place to stay
