Looks like Dublin Crypto Café is gone? First Aungier Danger and now this. The end is nigh. No more Litecoin for Lattés? Whats going on?

Probably nothing to worry about.

in fairness, they opened right next to Network cafe, which was pretty much the same thing minus the crypto novelty.

On that note, though, wonder how this new Moroccan place will get on, considering it’s in the vicinity of Passion 4 Food, Damascus Gate, Jerusalem, Zaytoon and the wee kebab place a couple doors up, depending on what your budget and level of inebriation is.

That Moroccan will be gone in six months and/or have changed name to keep Street legal. It’s not near Damascus Gate which is on Upper Camden Street as is Zaytoon (also on Parliament St). Jerusalem is lower Camden St. This is Aungier St, and unlike Camden St at night there is not enough pubs and clubs close by for this new place to make it.

Bet the Carmelites at Whitefriar Street aren’t praying to St Valentines about their coffee shop across the road either.

I doubt Cryptocafe will return anywhere soon. Doesn’t look like there’s a plan…

I didn’t realise Upper Camden St, Lower Camden St and Aungier St were so far away from each other, thanks for explaining this to me. After living in the area for 5 years you’d think I’d know better. I’m so silly, gosh.

hopefully it’ll be another much needed Hotel. If not, it better be something to ease the life of tourists (the most important people in this city)

I was watching Getaways this week and Vogue Williams (SIGH) stayed in a Bullitt-themed hotel in Belfast. It looked cool.
Hmm. I’ve just gone to their website and now have decided to shoot myself in the face.

I wonder does Vogue ever look at herself and sigh.

There’s a Sandemans-themed hotel/hostel in Porto now, too. Seems to be the new thing.

Is there? I LOVE Port: I must take a look.
Oh. It’s just a hotel with Sandeman posters on the bedroom walls, I think.

remember when tommy tiernan interviewed vogue not knowing who she was, and she said something about transexuals and tommy was lookin at her and sorta half askin if she was one. that was funny. i do think shes a big ol’ BABE tho. . . with the WORST taste in men. Which would make ya question her as a person.

Anyone who’d marry that gobdaw Brian McFadden has to be a few sangers short of a picnic.
            She seems grand, though.
I used to hate that fella on Getaways but he’s grown on me. Joe someone? He did a trip with his wife and she was lovely: I think that’s when I began to like him.

yea, i used to work in a nightclub years ago and the boss said the last one he worked in, mcfadden used to go to and sneak off with women all the time. a very bold lad. and a complete wally too. remember he was on ‘living with lucy’ where lucy kennedy would live with someone for a while, and she went to stay with him. they were sitting outside a cafe in sydney and he has shades on and said “ive to keep covered up, i’ll have people constantly come up to me and hassling me” even tho it was his idea to sit outside. then brilliantly, lucys narration said “we sat there for an hour and no one came over.” and shes with some reality tv show pleb now. and there was another one who was cr@p too. she does seem grand and a bit fun, for someone who grew up and around terrible things (D4, fade street< mcfadden, Irish DJ/Models etc.) . i dont know getaways, but is it Joe Swash by any chance? the english lad who carries on like a cartoon character?

Vogue’s current fella is another “gotta wear shades in case I’m recognised” nitwit, too. I was on a flight with him from London City Airport to Dublin and he was wearing a flat cap and his coat collar flipped up inside the airport. The only reason I noticed him was because it he was so conspicuously trying not to be seen.

Yes, dearie. Going off on a tangent is my speciality. It’s what makes me so adorable.
