Further to a teaser tweet from The Cure last month – indicating that they would play Dublin on Saturday, June 8, 2019…
MCD Productions announced the band will play Malahide Castle, Dublin, on that date.
It’ll be the first time The Cure has played in the capital in 23 years.
MCD also announced George Ezra will play Malahide Castle on June 21, 2019, Irish Independent Park in Cork on June 20, and Ormeau Park in Belfast on Saturday, June 22.

fondly recall a discussion on joe duffy years ago when a load of old ones were complaining about the regular congregation of “goth teenagers” in front of the central bank. joe read out a text from someone that said “stop complaining about goths… they’re not the problem, they’re the cure” followed by a confused pause.
