Behold: the 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 prototype – a stripped down ultra lightweight racer that marked the beginning of the legendary RS variant.
This is the second of nine prototypes built and was originally gifted to race driver Helmuth Koinigg before returning to Austria after passing through the hands of a US collector.
Still in near mint condition and yours for a mere €1.3 million.

Oh my goodness. That’s a thigh clencher.
pre ‘74 911’s are in utterly insane demand currently
if your grandad has one stashed away & is willing to give it to you then all your money worries are likely over
only trouble is just like a Ferrari Dino I just don’t know how you’d be ever able to follow thru on a sale as that means it wouldn’t be yours anymore :)
I see the heading ‘Hot Wheels’, I start scrolling, fast.
But not before having a good look at the pictures, reading about the car and leaving a comment. Same as meself
NEEEEEE-AW!
Oh my
Hmmmmmm…….Porsche.
delightful
Whilst I don’t care too much about the car, that looks like a beautiful evening.
Given me a Singer Porsche over any other car on the planet and I’d be very very happy.
Didn’t Michael O’Doherty of VIP have a burnt orange sports car at some stage like this one?
