This morning.
Dublin city centre.
As Storm Diana approaches from the west coast, a Status Yellow wind and rain warning is in place for Munster, Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Galway and Mayo and 20-30mm of rain is expected to fall leading to some surface flooding, with Sligo and Leitrim also under a wind warning.
Meanwhile…

tis a day for the high stool
for sure
a grogan’s day
Yup. High stool, a Superser and a ham and cheese toastie.
Ah stop. I’d only love to head down to a certain local pub with a turf fire and really delicious ham toasties made with REAL HAM and spend the whole day there getting sozzled.
Toasted spesh. I don’t know which drink I’d go for. I haven’t had a pint of Murph’s in years and I don’t like Guinness.
At least give us a CLUE Mildred…..
She did, you eejit. TURF FIRE! Surely there can’t be more than dozens of those on DNS? Get cracking (one out).
My guess: Man o’ War. Or Hole in the Wall.
Not a bad guess at all Hoopie. I love the Man O’ War pub. Great spot.
Hole in the Wall is a nice pub. Decent grub. Lovely wine shop. I like those cottages across the way: you can almost imagine you’re in the country. Except for the traffic. And Dubs who NEVER say hello when out walking. DUBS. *spits*
I love the hole in the wall at this time of year, although wherever you sit you always feel like you’re in someone’s way….
proper dubs don’t go out WALKING
that’s for boggers and mullahs
And we definitely don’t say hello.
I used to play music in the Hole in the Wall, we could’ve met – although, you probably wouldn’t admit to it, which would be good judgement on your behalf!
can I have onions in mine ?
oh err missus
when did they move the five lamps out to Dublin 15???
storm blew it there ?
Zing,
Any news on Storm Gemma?
Or will it take a Village?
