Quick! Grant the Irish Aviation Authority more government funding because they commissioned a flash graphic!
We paid for this very professional-looking IAA promo, and its not like they themselves are trying to drum up more business, so why was it made?
Are the the execs in the IAA to use its flashness when seeking increments or something?

“The IAA is a commercial State-sponsored body and derives the vast majority of its revenue from international sources, mainly through ATC user charges. The IAA receives no Government funding.”
The IAA has a near monopoly on Trans Atlantic flights. It hands over a shedload of cash to the Government every year.

Fair enough, I have revised my opinion on the IAA having been made aware of new information.
I guess I’ve always been suspicious of state monopolies promoting themselves (since the days of ESB advertising electricity, when nobody sold it but them. Go and stick a few extra lights on there : )

no further word then on their systems failure back in October, no?
just an irregular software glitch I guess so that’s grand.

Anyone hear the interview on SoR this morning with the head of Dublin Airport. His parent were pilots and used to dump him and his sister into the back of small planes for ballast and race them around pylons. Good times.
Think of all the chemtrails
