‘A Few Pound There’

at

This afternoon.

At Cheltenham…

Irish Times journalist Simon Carswell tweetz:

Former Taoiseach Brian Cowen, property developer Mick Bailey and film director Jim Sheridan among [property developer Seán] Mulryan’s party for City Island’s win in the winners’ enclosure at #Cheltenham – ‘We had a few pound there, we had a few pound there,’ Cowen told me

Further to this…

Virgin Media One journalist Gavan Reilly tweetz:

The early 2000s called: they want their property-developers-meeting-government-ministers-at-race-meetings back.

Ballymore useless more like, amirite.

I always get an awful fright when I see the Cowen lad.

You could have at least put a trigger warning or something!

I met him on holidays once.

You have to see him in shorts and an ill fitting t shirt to really appreciate the man

A truly terrifying prospect. Not too scarred afterwards, though? Right?

        RIGHT?

Just be thankful you didn’t see him bellyflop in his Speedo’s. You’d never close your eyes again ;)

A friend of mine worked with him many years ago – she is a barrister. She said he was a very intelligent man. She is far from thick herself and was a bit in awe of his legal mind.

he’s not intelligent. in other news, i dropped the shoulder on Conor Lenihan on my way home from work yesterday. He wouldnt move and was expecting me to move even though he was down the middle of the path so i held my ground and he went flush into the meatiest shoulder in dublin.

A scaldy pox on him and his cronies. The rehabilitation of Bertie failed too, so don’t be trying to reintroduce that gowl back into polite society.

That’s Jim Sheridan the housing activist there, champion of the Apollo House charade, pulling the establishment down from the inside.

He’s not allowed cosy up with property developers AND play the ‘man of the people’ champion of the homeless, no he’s not. Talking out both sides of your mouth I believe it’s called.

A cheap and ugly bunch of pimps. Hopefully they all get struck down with an incurable dose of pox.

    The Cheltenham Tent.
And many more like Cowan in the vicinity.
No doubt Mr. and Mrs. Bankrupt will show up at some stage to tell us about how much of the Dail pension he extracts from us is put on his choice of filly. And then rub it in on Dinnymedia next week.
