Cane we call it something cooler than M87? Torquemada or Death Bringer or something? Catchy, like.
Also kinda sucks to be M86.

It sounds like a motorway, and since it sucks in matter and light and crushes them in eternal darkness never to escape, I’d say it’s appropriate.

Is the source for this “NSF”, the National Science Foundation Ireland, the organisation that gets millions of our money for questionable enterprises. If it is, can someone point out to the tax-funded geniuses the Sun is far, far bigger than Pluto and Voyager 1 is the size of a washing machine.

Are you complaining that a web cartoon didn’t accurately depict the exact measurements of vast cosmic distances to scale?

I don’t think it is from SFI. But if it was, I’d say well done. It’s the best tool for grasping the size of the Black Hole Ive seen.
And the point is the size of Pluto’s orbit and the distance of Voyager 1 from the sun. Not the respective dimensions of the things themselves.

      Also – Einstein-Hawking Mega Hole

Although hole is such a misleading term.

“Interstellar” (2014) is spot on for known science & unknown weirdness too.
Even if it was funded by Fine Gael
